It is time to get it

Johannesburg, South Africa – Robless Civils, a Construction and Engineering Company operating in Johannesburg, Cape Town, Polokwane, and Mangaung, is so impressed with the BF90.3 jaw crusher by MB Crusher that they are now looking to purchase their own.

Using this mobile crushing solution, they managed to process debris from a house demolition in just four days, repurposing the crushed material as a sub-base for road construction—a fast, efficient, and cost-effective approach.

We had the opportunity to speak with the company’s owner, Mr. Jermaine Bessit, who shared his experience and the benefits of on-site crushing.

The benefits of repurposing demolition waste

"We started this project, there was a house, we demolished the house, and then we used your MB Crusher to crush the building rubble. So the rubble we're going to do recycling with it, we're going to use it in the road again to use as a G7’’ explains Mr. Jermaine,

By crushing the debris, our Customer was  able to recycle the building rubble into aggregate suitable for road construction—specifically as G7 material, a compactable sub-base that is commonly used in infrastructure projects.
This method not only reduced waste disposal costs but also minimized the need for new raw materials, making the entire process more cost-effective and environmentally responsible.

This approach demonstrates how repurposing waste materials directly on-site can bring multiple benefits. By turning demolition debris into valuable construction resources, we:
Reduce landfill waste and environmental impact
Lower transportation costs by eliminating the need to haul debris away
Save on material costs by reusing existing resources
Improve efficiency by keeping operations self-sufficient

An on-site recycling centre: aggregate at zero cost

Mr. Jermaine elaborates on the challenges he would have faced without the MB Crusher Bucket and highlights the significant benefits gained by using it on-site:

“If we didn't have the crusher bucket, we had to take this, all this, material that you see behind us,  to a dump site and then we would have to import material. But by using the MB Crusher, you save on importing material, you make your own G7 or your own G6 on site, use that and then you can import G5 material only.”

By utilizing the jaw crusher, the entire process is transformed. Instead of treating demolition debris as waste, it becomes a valuable resource that can be processed directly on-site. The rubble is crushed and repurposed into G7 or G6 material, which is commonly used as a sub-base for roadworks and other construction applications. This eliminates the need to purchase and transport large quantities of new material, drastically reducing costs and environmental impact.
With the Crusher Bucket BF90.3, they can produce their own G7 or G6 on-site, which they can immediately reuse for the project. That means they only need to import G5 material, significantly cutting down on material costs and logistics. The crusher bucket allowed them to work smarter, recycle efficiently, and reduce our reliance on external suppliers.

…and now what?

With such outstanding benefits, what’s next for Mr. Jermaine and his future projects? He’s already made up his mind—he’s ready to expand his fleet by acquiring the BF90.3 jaw crusher!

After a decade-long “love story” with MB Crusher, Mr. Jermaine feels it’s finally time to make things official:  “it is time to get it and we're actually looking at getting our own crusher bucket because we've been using it for 10 years. So we're looking at getting a crusher bucket for ourselves, for the company’’.
The advantages are simply too significant to overlook—especially when it comes to cost savings. Jermaine explains, “for us to remove this crusher, it was going to cost us hundreds, the material was going to cost us hundred thousand rand, and to bring in G6 material was going to be another hundred and fifty thousand rand. So we actually saved a R150,000 by crushing’’
With numbers like that, the decision is clear—MB Crusher and Mr. Jermaine make a winning team!
