Reduce crushing times
When our customer wanted to avoid jamming their crusher with large pieces of limestone that they previously extracted, they purchased the MB-S18 screening bucket. With the screening bucket, they alternated between separating the fine material from the large rocks, then using the crusher to continue to reduce the size of the limestone until it was the size they needed in order to sell it.
By using the screening bucket both before and after they crushed the limestone, they reduced their crushing time by at least 60%. They also decreased their down time by not having material that could possibly jam their crusher.
Recycle demolition waste
Our customer wanted to create their own backfill for their project by reusing demolition waste. In order to separate the bigger pieces waste while also mixing it with soil, they purchased the MB-S18 screening bucket.
With the unit, they successfully mixed the two materials and reused it as backfill. They also eliminated the need to purchase material that they needed to use as fill and what it would cost to have it transported to their job site.
