MB attachments for Civil and Transport Sector in Ireland

[Article taken from CIS Construction Opportunities 2017 Report]

The Irish Construction industry continues its sustained recovery and 2017 should see it continue on a growth trajectory to address the many deficits in all sectors which arose during the deep recession. There are many important projects which will occur in 2017 and beyond, above all in the civil and tran sport sector

Civil Sector

Regarding Civil sector work is currently ongoing on three major road schemes in Ireland (N25, New Ross Bypass, M11 Enniscorthy and N17/N18 Gort to Tuam). Plans will progress during 2017 on three other road schemes (N6 Galway City Bypass, N22 Macroom Bypass and M7 Naas).

Transport Sector

The Dublin Airport Authority hopes to commence work on the new North runway and taxiways at Dublin airport during 2017. It will cost €320 million and is expected to be delivered in 2020. The €227m redevelopment of Alexandra Basin will transform Dublin Port's infrastructure and enable it to service the economy for decades ahead.

These projects represents several examples and opportunities where MB attachments could be used to satisfy the requirements of the sector where productivity, performance and durability are essential.

The MB Crusher Bucket for road construction

Operating process of a crusher bucket is extremely simple. First of all, the material can be taken directly to a yard or to any other location. This is followed by a phase in which the material is prepared for the work cycle by means of grabs and jackhammers. This is how the loose material crushing process begins, the material having been previously picked up, hoisted, carried and unloaded by the same bucket, and lastly grounded at the desired thickness. The resulting material can be reused for other jobs at the same worksite or be taken to other worksites and used to build yards, road embankments, drainage systems and for filling in various excavations.

MB Crusher machines are already working in Ireland in many projetcs. In this video the BF90.3 is crushing limestone on a Cat Excavator in  a big yard in the Country.
