A Crusher Bucket building a township in Maharashtra

01-01-2024

Imagine you have to deal with a big urban construction site. You excavated the foundations of it, and you realised you have to manage with granite boulders. Lots of them. Your mind suddenly goes to different solutions, some of them are very expensive, other are not really effective.
Now, what if there was a way to bring a powerful crusher into the jobsite? Not a regular one, something lighter, faster, smarter.

This is the story about how an MB Jaw Crusher successfully helped one of our esteemed customers, Bhoomi Earthmovers Pvt Ltd, to crush on site a big amount of basalt rocks, once considered waste, and to turn them into a valuable resource: aggregates and GSB, to be re-used into the same jobsite again

I want to transform waste materials into a new valuable resource for my jobsite

MB Crusher bucket in Maharashtra township

A township to build up

This construction project takes us directly to Domblivi,  Maharashtra, where a complex of commercial and residential buildings and malls is in full construction: Sai World Dream Project is going to be a magnificent township, an impressive project that puts together towers containing luxury residences, commercial parks and high street retail spaces as well as other amenities such as a libraries, shops, playgrounds, bar and cafés, business centres and more.

Our esteemed customer, Bhoomi Earthmovers Pvt Ltd, has a long history and expertise in construction and civil engineering and therefore is aware that such a construction jobsite may come with challenges to tackle, especially being  located inside of a urban environment.

  • the strict schedules for jobsite completion;
  • waste management and traffic;
  • environmental pollution;
  • noise and dust control and city restrictions.

Granite boulders and waste management

The excavation process brought to the surface a significant amount of basalt rocks and boulders, which was considered waste and an additional difficulty.

In fact, they wouldn’t be able to:

  • Establish a crusher plant at site (dimensions + machinery to feed it + fuel + manpower);
  • Transporting the basalt material to a distant crusher and back (fuel cost + truck’s pollution + crusher’s plant costs);
  • Purchase material directly from the market (material’s costs + trucks fuel + pollution).

All these alternatives were clearly considered costly, time consuming and from an environmental standpoint, not even ecologically friendly.

I need to find a more effective and less expensive way to recycle waste materials at site

A powerful combination

A powerful combination

Bhoomi Earthmovers Pvt Ltd had a card up his sleeve and proposed his client to use its powerful combination of BF90.3 Crusher Bucket and Sany SY220 excavator to manage the basalt rocks.

The Sany SY220 and BF90.3 Crusher Bucket proved to be a perfect match for efficiently processing the excavated basalt rock and it effectively reduced the input material size to the desired 60 mm output size, converting the waste material into reusable aggregate directly on-site.This way customer could save time and money on transportation costs, new material’s cost and turn the waste basalt into a valuable resource for the project.

The use of this combination allowed to:

  • Streamline the processing time;
  • Meet the requirements while optimizing productivity.

Gaining a competitve edge in the field of building construction

The successful implementation of the BF90.3 Crusher Bucket opened up new project opportunities for our client, as they gained a competitive edge in the field of building construction.

By effectively crushing the material and creating valuable GSB and aggregates, our client

  • Achieved cost savings;
  • Optimized waste management;
  • Secured additional project opportunities.

This case exemplifies the power of advanced machinery and sustainable practices in the building construction industry, highlighting the importance of innovation and environmental responsibility.
