Fun testing experience with a rotating screening bucket

Has anyone ever been curious to push the boundaries of a machine they own on ''extra'' duties?

Clayton has.
On purpose, he tested the rotary screening bucket MB-S14 made by MB Crusher on a task that they would normally not do, he wanted to know how it would perform.

The outcome: they salvaged 30 – 35 tonnes of drain rock that got stuck on the ground because they drove over it with the machines. Not bad for an experiment.

In Alberta, Canada, Clayton has decided to make a video diving into the exciting world of salvaging drainage material. His test was done by using his MB-S14 with basket mesh 20x20 mounted on this John Deere 160G.

His statement: '' We’ve actually done that on purpose because I wanted to see how well this would separate''

So they had 1600 tonnes of 40mm drain rock piled up. Some of the rocks ended up being pushed into the ground while the machine was running over them to carry out the job they were doing.

They could have been left in the ground but Clayton decided to push the boundaries of the MB-S14 and see how it would separate the topsoil from the rocks. His experiment began.

A loader stripped about an inch of topsoil off, scraping up the drain rocks. Then with his John Deere and the hydraulic screening bucket, began to tumble the pile and salvaged 30 – 35 tonnes of drain rock.

Working with the philosophy ''the job is done'' the rocks jammed in the ground would have been gone forever left on the site. But Clayton proved that the waste-nothing approach is easy and convenient. Just a quick twirl has salvaged a couple of trucks full of rocks.
Granted they need to be cleaned out but it is an easy task or they can be used as structural fill saving the cost of buying 2 truckloads of material.

Hopefully, Clayton's testimonial helps you in your decision-making process to change the way you operate to embrace a reclaim attitude, MB Crusher attachments can help you!
